Little was known about water, until the groundbreaking work of a pioneer Japanese researcher whose astonishing discovery about water, documented photographically, changed most of what we didn't know…and led to a new consciousness of Earth's most precious resource.

Dr. Masaru Emoto was born in Japan and is a graduate of the Yokohama Municipal University and the Open International University as a Doctor of Alternative Medicine. His photographs were first featured in his self-published books Messages from Water 1 and 2. The Hidden Messages in Water was first published in Japan, with over 400,000 copies sold internationally.

What has put Dr. Emoto at the forefront of the study of water is his proof that thoughts and feelings affect physical reality. By producing different focused intentions through written and spoken words and music and literally presenting it to the same water samples, the water appears to "change its expression".

Essentially, Dr. Emoto captured water's 'expressions.' He developed a technique using a very powerful microscope in a very cold room along with high-speed photography, to photograph newly formed crystals of frozen water samples. Not all water samples crystallize however. Water samples from extremely polluted rivers directly seem to express the 'state' the water is in.

Healing by Chakras & Gemstones

In Sanskrit chakra means "wheel," and those who can see them describe chakras as spinning wheels of light. They are found in the aura, an electromagnetic force field which surrounds every living being. The energy of the aura is that of our thoughts and feelings, and the chakras concentrate and coordinate the flow of these energies in and from the physical body. Gemstones, with their colors and vibration, relate to the charkas and help promote healing.

1st Chakra (Base) - The color is red, from deep to lighter red and this Chakra is related to the quantity of physical energy and will to live in the physical reality. Challenges may be anger, frustration, resentment, need for grounding and low self-esteem. The crystal energies to help balance the 1st chakra are ruby, garnet, strawberry quartz, hematite and other stones of red and brown color.

2nd Chakra (Sexual) - The color is orange and it is related to sexual energy and creative energy. Challenges may be shock and trauma, dependency, co-dependency, or anti-dependency issues. 4th Chakra (Heart) - The color is varying shades of green from olive to emerald. This is the center through which we love and feel connected with all life and receive healing. Challenges may be jealousy, envy, needing space, needing to open to love, and difficulties in decision-making. Gemstones for this chakra include, emerald, jade, prehnite, peridot, maldevite and malachite.

5th Chakra (Throat) - The color is blue and includes turquoise. It is associated with taking responsibility for one's personal needs. Challenges may be a tendency towards emotional suppression, not speaking the truth, difficulties in expressing feelings, issues with authority, rigidity, isolation and aloofness.
